Done-For-You Paperwork Service

The Done-For-You Paperwork Service applies your new private registration to your vehicle for you. Instead of working through the DVLA transfer yourself, you send us a photograph of your current V5C logbook and our admin team handles the paperwork, liaises with the DVLA on your behalf and makes sure the registration is properly applied to your car. It is for buyers who would rather not deal with the forms, or who want to avoid the mistakes and delays that come with doing it for the first time.

How it works

1. Add the service to your order.
2. Send us a clear photograph of your current V5C logbook. We do not need the original document posted to us.
3. We complete the application, deal with the DVLA on your behalf and make sure the new registration is applied to your vehicle.

What it does and does not do

The service covers the paperwork for putting the registration on your vehicle: the forms, the submission and the correspondence with the DVLA. Our admin team have handled these transfers for years and take the application from submission through to the DVLA's confirmation. It does not include the registration itself or the physical plates, which are ordered separately.

What to order

Add the service alongside your registration or plate order. If you are also ordering plates from us, we must see the documents listed on our valid documents page before we make them. Fit the plates once the DVLA has confirmed the assignment; the replacement V5C follows in the post. If you are unsure whether the service suits your situation, contact us before you buy.
