Push-in Number Plate Mounts (Audi & VW Grille)

Push-in grille number plate mounts hold a front plate in a honeycomb grille without screws, pads on the bumper or a surround. Each pack contains 2 clips, which is what one plate needs. The clips stick to the back of the plate with 3M tape and then push into the grille, and the plate pulls off again in one movement. They are made for Audi grilles and any similar grille with enough open space between the bars.

What's included

• 2 push-in grille clips, enough for one number plate.
• 3M tape on the back of each clip, which bonds the clip to the rear of the plate.

Fits

Audi grilles and other honeycomb or equivalent open grilles with room for the clips to push in. The mounts are made from materials chosen to stand up to wear and to weather, so they stay in use through rain and sun. They do not suit a solid bumper with no grille; for that use sticky pads or the screw fixing kit.

Fitting

1. Clean the back of the plate and peel the backing from the 3M tape on each clip.
2. Press the two clips onto the rear of the plate, spaced to meet the grille.
3. Push the plate into the grille until the clips seat.

To take the plate off, for a photo or at a car show, pull it straight out; the clips stay on the plate and push back in afterwards. Plate positioning is covered in the fitting guide.

What to order

One pack mounts one plate, normally the front. The rear plate fixes in the usual way with pads or screws. Add the mounts to a plate order or buy them on their own.
