Velcro Number Plate Fixing Kit (Hook & Loop)

The Velcro number plate fixing kit is a hook and loop kit for fitting a front and rear number plate without screws or drilling. In the pack are 4 hook strips and 4 loop strips, each with a self-adhesive weatherproof backing, which is enough for two plates. One strip goes on the back of the plate and its partner goes on the vehicle, so the plate presses on and pulls off again without tools.

What's included

• 4 hook sides: the rough half of the pair.
• 4 loop sides: the soft half, which grips the hook side.
• A self-adhesive backing on every strip. The adhesive is made for outdoor use and holds through sun and rain.

Fits

Any flat plate on a clean, flat mounting surface that will take an adhesive strip, such as painted bodywork or a plate holder. It suits drivers who take a plate on and off, for example one that comes off for cleaning, and drivers who do not want to drill a new plate. It leaves no screw holes, and there is nothing to see once the plate is on.

Fitting

1. Clean and dry the back of the plate and the mounting surface on the vehicle.
2. Press one set of strips onto the back of the plate and the matching set onto the vehicle.
3. Line the plate up and press it firmly onto the vehicle.

The fitting guide covers positioning and surface preparation. If you want a fixed rather than removable fit, use the sticky pads or the screw fixing kit instead, or get both in the fixing kit bundle.

What to order

One kit fits a front and rear plate. Add it to a plate order, or buy it on its own for plates you already have.
